"LIFE'S WHAT YOU MAKE IT...."(Week 49: 8/8-8/14)

So let's make it rock! 🎸🎸

Haha just a little Hannah Montana. This picked me up just a little bit
this week. It has been playing in my head! Haha.

Well this week was wonderful! Thank you to all who wished me a Happy
Birthday! It meant a lot!

We went and did some service at Carriage Hill and played Bingo with
some of the Old Folks, to bad none of them lost their dentures when
they called bingo... Haha I love old people. Their spirits are just so
wonderful! πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡

We had a District Meeting on Wednesday and it was also my birthday! It
was soo fun! So we got to District Meeting and Sister Olson and Sister
Hansen (Sister Training Leaders) were sitting outside, so I was like
something is going to happen.. Well they got me a pin and a birthday
sash that I wore around all day! They also got cupcakes which was also
sweet of them! After district meeting we went to Buffalo Wild Wings!
YUMM!!! Then we went and visited Sister McGehee, and some others
before heading out to dinner at the Helzer's where my mom had given
Sister Helzer's mom(who is also from Vegas) some fun party things.. So
it was fun!there were 20 balloons and 20 roses, and I got a lot of
things in the amount of 20!! Haha! It was soo awesome.. It was a
wonderful birthday! And I loved the emails I received! Nothing like
serving the Lord on your birthday.. No other way I would rather have
it.

We also were able to do service for the community with a lot of other
missionaries from Thursday to Saturday! We helped people get new
clothes, backpacks, school supplies, and toiletries, and shoes, coats,
etc. for the new school year. We came in with a bunch of churches and
were able to help serve Heavenly Fathers children. It was a neat
experience.

No one came to church this week, so it was really sad, but we have
been able to find a lot of new investigators. Please pray for those
people and please pray that we will also be able to find more people
to teach!

Thank you all again for all you do.. I truly love you all!

Love,
Sister Pewtress
