"Inasmuch As Ye Have Done It......" (Week 32: 4/11-4/18)

It's been just a little stressful lately. But hey what isn't stressful!

Monday: we drove out towards Kinsale, where we had a member dinner
and we tried visiting some potentials. And almost got eaten by a dog.
But it was a crazy night.

Tuesday: we had our first district meeting of the transfer due to so
many meetings and what not. But hey! I guess. There is also this lady
named Janice who wants to be a member of the church but because she
has word of wisdom problems she isn't able to. So we met with her to
help her and strengthen her testimony of the prophet, and reason with
her on why! 23 also did quite a lot of tracting, and we visited with
the Pierce family.

Wednesday: more tracting. We have been doing a lot of knocking because
out teaching pool is very slim. But hey we have to find the people
some how.

Thursday: we found so many amazing people! We were tracting all day!
And I can promise you that the Lord put us in that specific spot for a
reason! We had some amazing lessons and we have many return
appointments.

Friday: we tracted all day!! But we got a text saying that we were
playing volleyball, and we had a less active who was going to be
there, so we went and played. Our lesson fell through that night.

Saturday: we had to be at this school in Tappahannock at 7:45 in the
morning, because we signed up to do community service for the whole
county. Many churches gathered together to help the community. Sister
halls and I were assigned to help with a "free for all", which was
kind of like a yard sale but it was free. So that was till 1pm. It was
really cool to see so many churches come together. This was called
"Operation Inasmuch". Hence the subject line. (Scripture: Matthew
25:40). That night we had some things planned, but our lesson with the
Pierce family fell through and was pushed to Sunday! So we went
tracting again! Ohh how fun! Well sometimes! We tried visiting a less
active/recent convert who is actually out of our mission by like 50
yards, but he wasn't home and we risked our lives to visit him. While
we were there seeing him a big pit bull came running towards us, he
was literally barking at us and running around us. It was like we had
this circle of protection around us! Crazy!

Sunday: my favorite day! It was a wonderful day! Except I was really
stressing. We have been having to find the Pierce family a ride. And
it honestly gets kind of stressful. Some members say they can and
other say they can't. FRUSTRATING. I was literally on the edge of
breaking. But I have had this feeling to get a Priesthood blessing
this week, but I just put it off. But someone at church asked what was
wrong and said that maybe I should get a priesthood blessing. So after
dinner and a lesson with the Pierce family, I had asked one of the
Dunn's to give me a priesthood blessing. And it was so peaceful and
truly helped so much! I am so grateful for the priesthood power that
is again here on the earth. While we were there, they gave us ice
cream and we just got to know the family some more. But funny story:
as we were talking one of their little boys had a squirt gun filled
with water. And not thinking of anything he squirted me. Which was
fine, until their daughter said "uhh, that was toilet water..." Haha!
😂😂😂😂 we all started laughing sooo much! Haha good memories!

Great/ stressful week! But all is okay! Mission life is awesome and
the trials we go through are but small!

There was a quote that was said in Sacrament meeting yesterday that
stuck out to me a lot.

"Nothing worthwhile is ever easy!"

It's so true! This is worthwhile and therefore won't be easy!

I love you all! And hope you have a fantastic week!

Love,
Sister Pewtress

Cute little bunny & green grass everywhere!

The paintings in a little town! MONTROSS! So cute!

So a little story to this, while at the MTC I was able to be there with my best friend for literally 3 days. While we were there I had brought friendship bracelets and we put them on at the training center. Well this past week mine fell off. 7 months of it being on and it fell off! So sad! But hey all is okay!

At the Mtc!

Crazy! Sorry not a ton of pics! They are on my camera! I will get them to you all next week
