"HAKUNA MATATA- it means no worries!" (Week 23: 2/8-2/15

So some key things that happened this week! Zone p-day! Which means
OOMPA! Oh and chair soccer ohh and SCATTERBALL! AHHH! That was fun! On
Tuesday I actually hit my 5 month mark! Crazy to think that I have
been out for that long!

Monday: played oompa! SCATTERBALL, and chair soccer! Fun day of
emailing and not having any time to do anything else! Good Ol' Zone
P-Day!

Tuesday: we had District Meeting! So that's always fun! Our district
consists of 5 sisters and 2 elders! It's so fun! We always have a good
time! After district meeting Sister Tibbitts and I bought Little
Caesars $5 pizza for OUR 5 MONTH MARK! Get it! Haha! It was sooo good!
After that we did some tracting and calling of potentials! It was kind
of a cold day!

Wednesday: we had studies and them after studies we went over to a
members house and she made us breakfast! She is from El Salvador and
she made us Cassava donuts basically! For people who don't know what
that is, it's basically potato. The donuts kind of reminded me of
begnes (sp)!   So they were really good. We also had a lesson with
Samuel. He had so many questions about the priesthood. After that
sister Ngosha needed to work on my plan! Then we tried contacting
potentials the rest of the night.

Thursday: we went on exchanges with the other sisters. I went to
Quantico with Sister Stoddard! We found so many cool people! So that
was fun!

Friday: I got my companion back and we started weekly planning until
we had to go to some lessons! We had dinner with the Babbitts and I
held another Ferret! They are so cool but kind of creepy! (OH AND
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY! πŸ’šπŸ’•πŸŽ‰πŸŽˆ)

Saturday: we finished weekly planning and had a lesson with Kingsley
who is also preparing to be baptized! So many prepared people. This is
our 3rd week without a car and we have been walking so much! We are
trying to ask members but they sometimes don't want to come with us!
😭😩 but that's okay!

Sunday: we had church! And it was of course great! We learned about
choices and how they truly determine our destiny! It's super crazy how
when you need answers that Heavenly Father will give them to you! We
had an awesome lesson with Nana and Rachel! They are so sweet! We also
went heart attacking for Valentine's Day! It was so fun!

Well I love you all and I am so grateful for all of the prayers and
the support that you all give! Happy Belated Valentine's Day! Hope you
know how much Heavenly Father loves you!

A couple of the scriptures that stood out to me this week:

D&C: 122:7-
7 And if thou shouldst be cast into the pit, or into the hands of
murderers, and the sentence of death passed upon thee; if thou be cast
into the deep; if the billowing surge conspire against thee; if fierce
winds become thine enemy; if the heavens gather blackness, and all the
elements combine to hedge up the way; and above all, if the very jaws
of hell shall gape open the mouth wide after thee, know thou, my son,
that all these things shall give thee experience, and shall be for thy
good.

Joshua 1:9
9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not
afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee
whithersoever thou goest.

I love you all. This church is true and the Book of Mormon is the word
of God and completes the Bible!

Have a great week!

SUPRISE! Our emails weren't working on Monday, so our president let us email again!

I love you all and will talk to you next Monday!!

Love,
Sister Pewtress
