get to be on my mission a day longer. Haha! Crazy! Well there was some
sad times this week, but all in all it was a fabulous week! Another
one for the books!
Let's just say this month was a slow one, but it was also an extremely
fast one. How I have NO idea? So there's only this week left in this
transfer and guess who flies home not this Wednesday, but next
Wednesday!? That's right you guessed it! Sister Ngosha! It's so crazy!
Mom: she says it goes by super fast! 😘😁
Monday: sisters P-day! All of the sisters in our area went ice
skating! It was sooo fun and it was nice to do something different! I
love ice skating! (Pics below)
Tuesday: I woke up super achy. And not feeling well. We had interviews
with President. So we went at 10:30 with the Bristow Sisters. Our
interviews weren't scheduled until 12, but we were a bit early. While
we were waiting we did some roleplays where we practice teaching
different scenarios. So fun. NOT. I kind of dislike roleplays but they
are good to do. It was my turn to meet with President Wilson. He just
checks up on us to make sure we are following mission rules and that
we are happy serving! We had a interview questions that we filled out
in advanced. It's pretty cool! Later that day, it was raining.. 🙄🌧🌧
so we had a member take us to visit some people. It was soo cool! We
saw Ann and had a lesson with her. All was well! Until later that
night, I felt so sick!! So the rest of the night we stayed home. 😒
Wednesday: I felt... Let's just say there was no way I was making it
out the door. Come to find out I had the stomach flu! UGHHH! Soo gross
and it's not fun while on a mission because you have your companion
who isn't sick but wants to go out, but can't. And you want to go out
but can't. So what did I do ALL DAY? I slept. No fun. It was nice to
get rest, but I felt so terrible! 😳😥 crazy thing happened later that
night. It was raining. We had a severe weather alert. We had a tornado
warning, rain, floods, hail, you name it and it was there! Good thing
we didn't go out at all! 😷
Thursday: we got news that Ann didn't want to be baptized anymore..
😭😭😥😥 but it was a weird situation! (We met with her and she is
going to be baptized!!!! 😍😍😍) sister Ngosha worked a little more on
my plan because she had to finish it before today!
Friday: we had weekly planning. And we went over to someone's home to
have dinner. We had Peruvian food and it was really good!!! 😍😍 A
really awesome thing also happened today!!!! We got a call last week
asking if we could meet at a church building, because we were getting
a car. We got a car! I know just how much dedication and effort we
have out in these past 5 weeks of not driving and I am so grateful I
had the opportunity to walk! It's been a real test of faith and
trusting the Lord, but am I so grateful for a car!
Saturday: we went to a Women's Conference for the Stake and it was
really cool and an amazing opportunity to be at! It was all on being
Eternally Prepared! We also had lunch and a musical! The Musical was
called p, "The Ten Virgins." It was sooo good! Saturday then consisted
of some more lessons and Marie came out with us! We saw Ann and we
went over the Baptismal Interview questions! And SHE IS SOOO PREPARED!
Sunday: oh I love Sunday's! We had Ann come to church! Partook of the
Sacrament! After that we came home and cut a ton of hearts out to
Heart Attack people in the ward who have helped us out soooo much
these past 5 weeks! So much fun! We then went and heart attacked
people all day! :) it was soo fun! ❤️💜
Well it's been a crazy, crazy week! But I know the Savior has been
there! I may not know what you are going through, but I do KNOW that
Jesus Christ truly does KNOW what you are going through. The only way
that we can KNOW He is there is if you pray and find him!
FIND HIM!
